Back To School

Hmmm... I've been relieved from my work in APC since this Monday... for some reasons, they made me a stand by teacher... Anyway, I won't really mind coz I just got accepted in a school which I applied in just this morning... So I'm now back to work in a regular school... I'm back to school! :)

Things just happened so fast... they were quite impressed with the interview and with the result of the test and the ON THE SPOT DEMONSTRATION TEACHING! :) Yes, you read it right... they requested me to prepare for a demo teaching for about two hours... and voila! And the winning demo teaching is -- UNFADING BEAUTY by James Carew... :) Well, it's not all that... I owe it of course to the Lord.. for guiding me... In addition, I think they were also impressed that I am a licensed teacher and that I am a UST graduate... :)

Okay, so it's not all roses... the school is quite far (it's located in Ususan, Taguig -- and I'm from Quezon City) but the traveling time and distance is quite manageable (I do hope...). Another thing is, the starting pay is not so high... but then again, I'm so thankful that I got accepted... Who knows? This might be my chance to shine... :) It's good that the school allowed me to enroll this second semester in my MA... (I do hope that I could save enough money for the enrollement) Another thing is that my teaching load is light... plus I would be given an advisory class and a club moderatorship.. (I hope there's an extra pay) :)

Tomorrow I'm off to work for my orientation... and I'll have to go to APC to get my last pay... :)

I just watched UAAP Seniors Basketball game... Game 1 of the FINALS Series... it's LA SALLE vs. FEU... Kaasar lang talaga! Talo ang LA SALLE... kawawa lang si Joseph Yeo (my biggest crush ever!)... hehehe... haay, bad trip lang kasi walang ibang goner ang LA SALLE.. sandali lang na-bench si YEO e nakahabol na ang FEU... hay, and to make it worse, okay na nga sana they're just down by 2 points, e kaso lang ang MAGALING na TEAM MANAGER ng LA SALLE e binatukan si SANTOS.. (I hope I got the name right...) ... Let's just see what will happen to GAME 2 next Thursday... Di bale Yeo... forever winner ka naman sa akin e.. Kudos to you for a JOB WELL DONE! :) Abangan na lang kita sa PBA if ever... :)

Back to Work

It's been a month since the last time I posted an entry... I was too lazy to post... hirap talaga pag katamaran ang kalaban mo. hehehe.

Anyway, I've started working last week. I'm working as an ESL teacher (again) at Asia Pacific College. Though the pay is not that good, there is a possibility that I could be tenured... (depending on my performance and the need of a regular teacher of the institution). So keep your fingers crossed... I do hope that everything would be okay in my new workplace...

My honey and I just had our 39th monthsary yesterday - September 11... (and so are roydz and tal - its their 2nd month though!).

This monthsary is different from the previous months because we attended a formation in our community (about Shepherding) and heard mass together afterwards... It's a good thing, though... Aside from the fact that we didn't spend a single cent for a date, we learned a lot of things from the formation,got to spend some time with the other members of the community and of couse quality time with the Lord. We're really trying to save some money... and cut the unnecessary expenses...

Actually, we are planning to settle down about four years from now... It seems quite a long time, but I know it would be worth the wait. I can hardly wait to be Mrs. Jorge P. Isidoro Jr... I'm starting to create a picture on my mind how our life would be when we get married... We were actually thinking that if it would be possible, I'd like to be a full time house wife and mom... Oh well, it still remains to be seen...:)
