Killing Time

Okie... I'm not going to make any excuse why I haven't updated my blog. I was just lazy. Hehehe. Wala eh, kulang sa will, naunahan ng katamaran. And to be perfectly honest, I am just killing my time right now that's why I decided to post today. I just want myself to be entertained while waiting here (in Ate Tess's home) for my honey.
Actually, I'm not supposed to be here. But due to some circumstances, I had to. Why? Because I have to be back at West Contact Services (my former employer) by 10pm later for my clearance to be signed by Fred. In short, I decided to come here so that I can have a place to rest... killing time, in short. Hehehe...
And so, I had dinner with my Honey and the rest of his family... for it's Tita Becky's birthday today! Happy birthday po!
###
Whew! It had been a really long day! This morning, I went to MSA-Katipunan to apply for an English teacher post. I took the test... It was quite easy but challenging... I just hope I'd make it. Then, I texted Velden (who happens to be studying in Ateneo) to ask him if it's ok if I could hitch ride with him... Oh well, sabay kaming umuwi pa-South riding public transpo. It was fun! It was my first time to ride the new LRT... We chatted along the way... :)
Veldz! Thanks a lot for the company... Until next time... :)
###
This afternoon, I submitted my resignation to my boss. Finally, I'M FREE! :) Actually, she was asking me why all of a sudden I resigned. I just kept quiet and stared at the buildings outside the school. I just don't think that I would be tact enough to tell her the real reason why I left. Masyado syang magulang! I was supposed to be working half day only... ok na nga na-magextend ako til 2pm... e anak ng magaling! Six o'clock na nandun pa ko! Ano ba namang kagulangan to noh! And she's only paying me... never mind. Sobrang nakakahiya! As in. As they say, some things are better left unsaid!
And so, I'm starting my job hunting... I just hope I'd get a good employer... :)

I just want to thank everybody who came to celebrate my 23rd birthday last June 17...
To the Lim's... thanks for accommodating us in your home...
Kris, Iboy, Lester, Angela, Te're... thanks for staying...
And of course to my honey... a million thanks to you... for always being there for me... I love you. Mwah!

A Not So Ordinary Anniversary

Okay... I've been trying to post last week but there's been problem. I'm not sure if it was my DU connection or hardware problem... The IE seemed not to load my blogspot. Huhuhu. I just hope that these problems would be fixed soon... oh well, for starters, I think our computer needs to be upgraded. It has been three or four years since it was upgraded. As for the internet connection, I think my mom is planning to subscribe to a postpaid ISP. Hehehe. Thanks to my brother who needs the internet for his school works. :)

Anyway, here's an account of what had transpired for the past few days...

Last Saturday (June 11), my honey and I celebrated our third anniversary. I must say this year's celebration is quite different coz we celebrated it together with my college barkada and the community (CYM).

Prior to that, we had a little fellowship last Friday (June 10) after the band's practice for the Youth Mass. Had some drinks. And by midnight... Boom. Happy anniversary! Yehey. Hehehe. Velden asked us to give message for each other. And asked us to have a kiss. Just a smack ok. :) Ano ba ito, showbiz! Hehehe. Velden ha, career mode na ito!

Come Saturday at around 4:30pm, we went to Robinson's Place to meet my college barkada at Ice Monster. Apparantly, one of my friends (Rachel) wants to introduce her new friend. Kaya pala biglang nagyayang magkitakita kami. Hehehe. Unfortunately, we had to leave by 6pm, so we weren't able to meet him.

We arrived at Moonwalk a little bit late for the Youth Mass. We came at about 7:10. Just 10 minutes late. :)

Afterwards, my honey and I, together with some of our brothers and sisters in the community had dinner at Frio mix. It was really fun. We were chatting and laughing while eating. Hehehe. Ang kulet talaga nila, promise! There was never a dull moment. Parang di sila mauubusan ng kwento. Oh well, reminiscing the old times...

As expected, we had a few drinks at Ate Tess's home... As usual, I was one of the boys again. :)

###

Yesterday, for the very first time, I was able to join my co-CYM in the work-out (exercise). Whew! I thought I won't be able to join them coz I have work. Thank God coz its holiday! Hehehe. But then again, I was like one of the boys again for quite some time. :( The Tenedero sisters were late because they had to attend mass... and the others weren't able to wake up early. Oh well, I played badminton with Marco and Gelo. Thanks for bearing with me! :) I also tried to learn how to play basketball (shooting). Hehehe. Thanks honey and Kris for being patient with me! At around 8am, Josh, Pia, Te're, Angela and Krystle came. And so, we played freesbie. Our work out ended at 9am.

At around 4:30pm, my honey and I, together with Ate Tess and Kuya Doods, Ate Ima and Kuya Malo and the kids, Cristy and Cherie (Kuya Doods's sisters), went to Market! Market!. Actually, we just went with them coz we were curious what the mall looks like. The place is quite similar to Glorietta (except that there's no fountain at the GF). And, to my surprise, it's not so crowded. So we were able to choose a good parking space and roam around without hassle.

###

To my brothers and sisters in CYM... thanks for the good friendship. I do hope that this friendship would grow deeper as years pass by... :)

To my honey... thanks for being there always... I love you very much. Mwah! Truly, there's nothing more I could wish for but to be with you forever. All I wanna do,is grow all with you... I wanna grow old with you...

Hectic Schedule

Oh well, I wasn't able to post for the past days... My schedule was kinda hectic. (Yeah right! Hehehe.)
Last Wednesday, I went to Moonwalk to have my confession at the Holy Eucharist Parish. (It had been quite some time since I had my last). Unfortunately, unexpected things happened... During the trip, I really got engrossed reading the newspaper.. and I missed the church where I was supposed to get off... Hehehe. I was too embarassed to get off along E. Rodriguez. Then, I decided to text my Honey. Luckily, he was at SM Bicutan together with his sisters and their respective hubbies, and the cuties... And so, I spent the rest of the evening with them -- chatting and catching up with things... Had dinner with them at Jollibee.
Last Thursday, I went to Moonwalk again to attend CYM's meeting. It started quite late, as usual :) ... Though we were able to really talk about important matters... Hope we would be able to carry out the plans that we discussed.
Yesterday, I was at Moonwalk... for the third time. I was really planning to have my confession. But then again, I wasn't able to :( ... I left for work quite late.. and it took some time to fill up the shuttle. I called up Velden if I could join the Music Ministry band practice... He said ok..and he mentioned that there would be a little fellowship afterwards (in celebration of his sister's birthday).
We had practice that lasted for about an hour. After that, the party took off. Had little jamming. Played some cool music... Had some drinks... I had great time! (even if my head's still aching until now. hehehe). I enjoyed their company. As in to the maximum level :)
And, I was grateful to the Lim family for accommodating me in their lovely home... (had to spend the night with them because it was quite late and I was a little bit tipsy :)
Looking forward to spending the succeeding gatherings with CYM!
Love you all! :)

To resign or not to resign...

I had a long day today...
I was preparing to go to work when I decided that I'd push through my plan of resigning. I realized that I don't have a security of employment (tenure) since I didn't sign any contract. All we had was a verbal agreement. I even called up my mom to inform her about this. She agreed that I should resign immediately.
It's not that I don't trust her... But I just remembered what happened to my co-teacher a month ago. My boss abruptly terminated her, without any warning or written memo of the offense/s that she had done. It's not that I'm being ungrateful because she appreciated my hardwork. But my point is, she did it once; she could do it again anytime that she wanted to.
It may sound weird... but everytime she's interviewing a teacher applicant (for the teacher aid post), thoughts like "Oh my, am I going to be replaced/terminated now?" run through my mind. I just couldn't take off my mind what my boss did to my former co-teacher.
And so, I prepared my resignation letter, transcript of record, L.E.T. Rating, and resume.
I intently ignored my boss's phone calls (in my mobile and landline) and text messages.
I wanted to surprise her... Bulaga! I'm leaving you for good!
I even informed my boyfriend about this. I told him that I'm not happy with what's happening at my workplace. And being the good boyfriend that he is, he supported my decision.
So what happened??
My boss didn't accept my resignation. She told me that if I couldn't handle the teacher post, she would make me the assistant teacher. I wouldn't have to stay eight hours at work. I'd be working for about three and a half hours only. Oh well, I accepted her offer. I just hope that this time I won't be stressed anymore... So, tomorrow, I'm going to look for a tutorial center and apply as a part time tutor...
I do hope things would get better tomorrow.
I'm really looking forward to it.
For tomorrow marks a new month... :)
And I definitely want to start the new month right...
