I'm In!

Part I... This morning, I went to PNU to enroll for my M.A. class. I came there by 8am. Well, I decided to be a full time student this summer and so I enrolled 3 courses. For the next 18 days (April 17-May 11), I'll be in school from 7am - 8pm... Whew! But I do have a three hour break from 10am-2pm... Anyway, everything in the enrollment process were flowing smoothly not until it was my registration form's turn to be encoded in the Cashier. Grrr! The computer broke down... and if it weren't for my complaining, they wouldn't do anything about it. It is as if they didn't have any contingency plan just in case the computer breaks down. And so, they didn't have any choice but to issue my a manually written receipt. I finished enrolling by 11:45. I had some snacks before I went home.

Part II... By 2pm, I had my demonstration teaching at St. Anne de Beaupre (which happens to be a walking distance from my home). Since there weren't any student, six teachers there acted as my students. My topic was on Be the best in whatever you are by Douglas Malloch. Luckily, the demo went well. :) After that, the directress informed me that I'm already hired. :) The pay isn't that big, but considering that I'll just have to walk going to school and I can have my lunch at home. :) I left the school with a smile on my face... :)
